Green Energy Materials

Green Energy Materials

Green energy materials include cathode and anode battery materials for electrical vehicles, as well as non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs) and polymer donor materials for solar cells.

Our range of NFA green energy materials can be processed in solution with non-halogenated solvents. These materials have achieved PCE up to 18% in organic solar cell devices. Meanwhile, our green energy polymer donor materials can be processed with non-halogenated solvents for use in highly efficient non-fullerene polymer solar cells.

Green Solvents: Why are they the Future? Green Solvents: Why are they the Future?

Whilst efficiencies of lab-scale OPV cells have continued to rise in recent years, the majority of systems use aromatic halogenated solvents to dissolve the active layer. These often have a negative impact on the environment and human health, and are subject to stricter regulation
