We have customers in all continents except Antarctica. Since we started trading in 2009, we have shipped orders to over 100 countries. We can ship anywhere except where trade/customs restrictions apply. Shipping Times
We aim to process all in stock orders within one business day, and unless requested otherwise, all items will be dispatched via courier. We will notify you if any items are out of stock or require manufacturing and can arrange a partial shipment at no extra cost to you.

Placing Your Order
All prices are excluding VAT (where applicable). If you are from a VAT-registered organisation within the EU (outside of the Netherlands) and have a valid EU VAT number, enter your number during the checkout process or contact us to be issued a formal quotation without VAT for your purchasing department.
If you have already placed your order, contact us with your VAT number and we will refund the VAT from the order back to your account.
Can I place my order in a different currency?
Online orders can only be placed in your local currency, but you can purchase in a different currency by contacting us or requesting a quote. You can also send a purchase order to info@ossila.com to pay by bank transfer in GBP, EUR, USD, or CAD.
Do you have a preferred agency in my country?
We fulfil orders directly from our sites in the UK and the Netherlands. This keeps our prices low and helps us to provide first-class customer support. Because of this, we are unable to recommend agencies or distributors in most countries. Please contact us if you are unable to purchase from us directly for any reason.

Do you offer delayed/timed dispatch?
Yes, customers can request that we hold dispatch until a convenient date. Please contact us to do so.
What if I want to return or cancel my order?
We hope you love your order, but if you wish to return any items ordered, please notify us within 21 days of receiving the goods. Ensure that they are returned as new, undamaged, free of contamination and in the original packaging. For more information, please see our returns page.
All cancellations should be made within 24 hours of purchase.
Shipping
What items require large item shipping?
Currently, the only product which requires large item shipping is the Ossila Laboratory Glove Box. All other items ship free with the purchase of a glove box.
Yes, with very few exceptions, we ship to your country! We have customers in over 100 countries around the world including all the countries listed above and more.
Please contact us for advice if you are unsure whether we will be able to ship to your country or if your country is not supported by our online checkout. In some cases (we no longer accept orders from Russia, Belarus, or Iran) customs restrictions may apply.
We ship our products worldwide using a courier service as standard (usually FedEx or DHL). We are happy to be flexible if your university or institution has specific requirements.
Worldwide shipping via freight forwarder or other methods is available for a wide variety of countries.
Where are orders shipped from?
Orders to the EU/EEC may be processed and dispatched by Ossila BV, which is based in Leiden BioScience Park in the Netherlands. All other orders will be dispatched from our main office and manufacturing centre in Sheffield, UK. We aim to ship all in-stock items within one working day.
Customs
Am I going to be liable for import duties and charges?
Customers in the UK, EU, US, and Canada pay no import duties and charges. For customers elsewhere in the world, import duties or taxes may apply at customs. Please contact us if you are unsure what costs you may be responsible for.
What customs issues might arise?
Occasionally, customs may request extra information or subject your order to a more thorough inspection. As a result, some items may be held at customs for longer than normal. Our team work hard to provide all the necessary information as soon as possible so that your parcel can continue its journey and reach you as quickly as possible.
What is a TSCA form and what do I need to consent to?
If you are based in the US and your order contains a material, US customs may require you to complete a Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) Certification. To save you time, we can complete this on your behalf, but we need your consent to do so. You can give this at checkout or over email when placing your order. If you would rather check the TSCA form over yourself, we will supply you with a partially completed document. In this case, all you will need to do is fill in your company details and send it back to us so that we can forward it on to the courier.
Why can't you ship certain materials to certain regions?
We aim to provide the best materials from the best suppliers for organic electronics. However, patent issues sometimes prevent us from being able to provide certain materials to certain geographical regions. For example, we are unable to sell TIPS-Pentacene to customers in the US.
We will contact you if your order is affected by export controls.
European Fulfilment
Will my order be fulfilled by Ossila Ltd. or Ossila BV?
Orders to the EU or EEC placed by customers with an EU billing address are processed and fulfilled by Ossila BV, but depending on stock levels, in some cases your order may still be sent directly from our main office in Sheffield, UK. To facilitate this, if you are in the EU or EEC, your data (such as your name and delivery address) will be shared between Ossila and Ossila BV. Our privacy policy provides more information.

Can I request that my order is processed by Ossila Ltd?
By default, orders to the EU or EEC placed by customers with an EU billing address are processed and fulfilled by Ossila BV. Please let us know if you would prefer that your order is handled solely by Ossila Ltd. We are happy to facilitate this, but customs fees may apply, as your order will be shipped Delivered at Place (DAP).
For the best service, we recommend placing your order with Ossila BV. Orders placed with Ossila BV are covered by our EU delivery guarantee.
Does Brexit cause additional customs issues for customers from the EU?
Ossila BV is based in the Netherlands, so we can ship to our customers in Europe without any customs issues. For logistical reasons, some orders are sent directly from the UK. We closely monitor these shipments. If there are any issues, we will deal with it in a timely manner to ensure that your order still reaches you as quickly as possible.
How does this affect customs clearance and costs?
Since Ossila BV is based on the Netherlands, no order fulfilled by Ossila BV will attract any import duties or charges. As a gesture of goodwill towards our European customers, we are also paying any import duties and charges for orders to the EU or EEC placed by customers with an EU billing address which are shipped directly from the UK for logistical reasons.
Will it take longer for my order to arrive?
We are working hard to ensure that all in-stock orders arrive as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, items that are not in stock in our Netherlands location may take slightly longer to reach you than usual. All in-stock orders are fulfilled promptly via tracked courier services to ensure that your order reaches you as soon as possible.
