Will I be charged VAT or other sales taxes?

No. To ensure the minimum amount of disruption for our European customers, we are handling all sales taxes. Customers in the EU with a valid VAT number will not be charged VAT when you place your order, and nor will you be liable for any sales taxes at time of delivery. You can provide us with your VAT number either at checkout (online account required) or when you request any type of quote or proforma invoice.

Am I going to be liable for import duties and charges?

No. As a gesture of goodwill towards our European customers, we are paying all import duties and charges (where applicable) for orders to the EU or EEC. This is being done without any price increases and does not affect our free shipping offer.

What customs issues might arise?

We will be monitoring and managing customs processing and clearance on all orders to Europe. Having taken steps to ensure that efficient shipping routes are available to us, we do not foresee any problems. Should an issue arise, we will deal with it in a timely manner to ensure that your order still reaches you as quickly as possible.

Will it take longer for my order to arrive?

We have taken measures to keep any extension to transit times down to a minimum and are working hard to ensure that all in-stock orders arrive as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, it may take slightly longer for your order to reach you than usual. We will continue to monitor transit times and will update both this page and our worldwide shipping information page should the situation change.

Will my order be fulfilled by Ossila Ltd. or Ossila European Fulfilment Ltd.?

All online orders to the EU or EEC will be processed by Ossila European Fulfilment Ltd. but in some cases your order may still be sent directly from our main office in Sheffield, UK. We will determine the best possible shipping route on a case-by-case basis. Dangerous Goods (DGs) will always be fulfilled from our main location.
