The gas atomizing spray head directly mixes pressurized gas with your coating solution to create an atomized spray stream. This combination happens through internal or external mixing, both of which are possible with the gas atomizing head attachments.
Using the various compatible air caps, you can control the spray shape, droplet size and mixing mechanics, three parameters that will significantly impact your spray coating process. Proper optimization of your spray coating can help reduce waste, reduce droplet size variation and create a uniform film.
Gas atomization heads are suitable for a wide range of coating applications. If highly uniform films or low flow rates are required, check out the Ultrasonic Spray Head.

Spray Coater Air Atomizing Head Assembly
The Ossila Spray Coater comes with an ultrasonic spray head and an air atomizing head. The air atomizing head works by combining pressurized liquid and gas streams to create a beam of spray droplets that can be directed towards a surface. The way that liquid and gas streams are combined impacts both the spray shape, the droplet size and distribution.
