Ultrasonic Helmholtz Resonator Design For Narrow Droplet Distribution
Fine, uniform spray coating with the Ossila Spray Coater
Specifications | Gallery | Resources
The Ossila Ultrasonic Spray Head uses gas flow through a Helmholtz resonator to generate ultrasonic oscillations. This drives the creation of a stream of uniform droplets. Unlike piezoelectric ultrasonic systems, this head requires no extra circuits or controls.
Unlike gas atomizing spray heads, this method doesn't require a highly pressurized gas flow, and it is useful for low-flow rate applications, for producing very fine droplets or in high precision coatings.
