Spectroscopic & Electrochemical Investigations with a Miniature Cuvette

High quality SEC cell for real-time spectroscopic characterization

Specifications | Gallery | In the Box | Literature | Related Products | Technical Support

The spectroelectrochemical cell is a transparent cell designed for real-time spectroscopic characterization of electrochemical reactions happening on the surface of the electrode under applied potential. The all-quartz cuvette has high transmission across the UV-Vis-NIR spectrum from 220 to 2500 nm. The three-electrode system includes a working electrode, a platinum counter electrode, and a silver chloride reference electrode. Choose the right working electrode for your experiments, with either a platinum mesh electrode or a platinum plate electrode holder.

The electrochemical cuvette cell is suitable for in-situ UV-Vis and Raman spectroscopy studies. The spectroelectrochemical study captures the chromic, spectroscopic, structural and surface changes in reaction intermediates and products at the electrode-solution interface. The spectroelectrochemical cell finds applications in monitoring electrode surface changes, studying reaction mechanisms, tracking oxidation-state, and analyzing structural changes in materials for catalysis, batteries, fuel cells and biomedical research.
