Super-sealed Electrochemical Cell
Super-sealed Electrochemical Cell, Gas Flow or Atmosphere Protection
Electrochemical cell designed for chemical synthesis, water quality monitoring and metal corrosion studies
The super-sealed electrochemical cell is an electrochemical cell that has a glass cell body, a PTFE lid and holder, and a seal to tightly hold together and seal the electrochemical cell. The lid has five openings to accommodate three electrodes and two gas inlet and outlet. The holder and lid are connected by threads to hold the cell body together, fixed and sealed with the seal on top of the body cell and the O-rings securing the electrodes.
The super-sealed electrochemical cell maintains a specific gas atmosphere to prevent side reactions. It is suitable for chemical synthesis, water quality monitoring, soil sediment analysis and metal corrosion studies. The super-sealed electrochemical cell also accommodates a three-electrode system for electrochemical analysis, i.e. cyclic voltammetry.
Lid and the holder: PTFE
Seal: PTFE
Cell body: High borosilicate glass (25 ml), Quartz glass (50 ml)
Note: Electrodes are not included
