The super-sealed electrochemical cell has a glass cell body, a PTFE lid and holder, and a seal to tightly close the lid. The lid has five openings to accommodate three electrodes and two gas inlet and outlet which are secured by O-rings. Maintain a specific gas atmosphere with the super-sealed electrochemical cell to prevent side reactions. It is suitable for chemical synthesis, water quality monitoring, soil sediment analysis and metal corrosion studies. This electrochemical cell also accommodates a three-electrode system for electrochemical analysis, i.e. cyclic voltammetry.
