Five-necked Electrochemical Cell
Five-necked Electrochemical Cell, With or Without Water Bath
Specialized glass apparatus for laboratory use in electrochemical studies, corrosion test and CO2RR
The five-necked sealed electrochemical cell is a five necked round-bottom flask specifically designed for electrochemical research under specific gas atmosphere. It has five neck openings for the insertion of multiple electrodes, i.e. the three-electrode system of working, counter, and reference electrodes, a gas inlet/outlet, and a liquid sealing device (or thermometer), enabling precise control and observation of electrochemical reactions.
Key features:
- Air-tight design with the accommodation of multiple electrodes, making it suitable for experiments that require a controlled environment
- The five-necked round-bottom flask typically made of high borosilicate glass for chemical resistance and can be fitted with Teflon joints for better sealing and chemical inertness.
- This five-necked sealed electrochemical cell is suitable for cyclic voltammetry analysis, corrosion test, and experiments requiring a specific gas atmosphere, such as CO2RR (CO2 reduction reaction) or NRR (nitrogen reduction reaction).
- The five-necked sealed electrochemical cell can accommodate rotating disk electrode (RDE).
Five-necked Electrochemical Cell with water-bath is also available for better temperature control.
