Blue Formulated PEDOT:PSS with Good Electrochromic Performance

Ideal for transparent electrodes in electrochromic devices, biosensors, and more, formulated for screen printing

Specifications | Choose a Material | MSDS | Related Products

S V3 PEDOT:PSS is an electrochromic material with good electrochromic performance. Formulated for screen printing, this blue PEDOT:PSS dispersion/paste in glycols can be processed to form a flexible or rigid substrate. Offering high conductivity, flexibility, and optical transparency, S V3 PEDOT:PSS is used for transparent electrodes in printed electronics such as electrochromic devices. The applications vary from wearable printed biosensors and electrochromic indicators/displays to smart wearable textiles and electroluminescence (EL) lightings.

During the initial light-emitting electrochemical cell (LEC) operation, majority of the anions in the active layer materials can be transferred into a spray-coated S V3 PEDOT:PSS positive electrode. Depending on the thickness of the S V3 PEDOT:PSS electrode, the initial ion concentration in the active material for peak performance can be increased by a factor of 4 - 10.
