Offering exceptional thermal stability, flexibility, and high resilience, our silicone gaskets provide a secure seal across extreme temperatures. Ranging from -60°C to 230°C without hardening, cracking, or losing elasticity in harsh environments, our silicon gaskets are highly durable and known to resist UV radiation, ozone and outdoor weathering without degrading.
Our Silicone sealing gaskets, feature high dielectric strength providing gas and liquid-tight seals in multi-compartment electrochemical reactors such as membrane electrode assembly (MEA) electrolyzers and gas-diffusion electrode (GDE) flow cells. They offer precise thickness control to manage electrode compression during CO2 electrolysis or fuel cell operation.
In proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells, silicone gaskets prevent hydrogen and oxygen gas leaks, ensuring uniform compression across the active area, and managing the precise spacing between the bipolar plates and the porous transport layers.
Our silicone gaskets can handle weak or dilute acids and bases well at room temperature, however they can break down in strong or concentrated acids and bases.
