High-Performance Triaxial Cable for Precision Measurements

Ensure consistent and accurate data acquisition with an affordable cable you can rely on

Overview | Specifications | Related Products | Resources and Support

A 2-meter triaxial cable (TRB male to TRB male) is designed for use with sensitive test and measurement equipment such as source measure units, semiconductor parameter analyzers, and other low-current precision instruments. Built with TRX142 triaxial cable, it provides excellent shielding, low leakage, and reliable guarding performance in many applications, including:

  • IV/CV characterization of semiconductor devices
  • Low-current/high-resistance measurements
  • Electrometer and picoammeter connections
  • Guarded test setups in sensitive lab environments

Triaxial cables feature an additional guard conductor between the signal and outer shield compared to traditional coaxial cables. This design dramatically reduces leakage currents and improves measurement accuracy when working at picoampere and femtoampere levels, or with high-impedance devices.
