Product Code S253
Price £200 ex. VAT

Ossila's Scale-Up PV and OLED (Modules) Substrate Pack contains the substrate consumables necessary for creating fully encapsulated LEDs and PVs at a reduced price compared to buying the components individually. We have packs designed to create either 20 or 100 devices. The contents of the packs are:

Pack of 20 Pack of 100
Number of substrates 20 100
Number of encapsulation slides 20 100
Amount of epoxy 10 ml 60 ml

Ossila substrate packs have been designed for complete ease of use in order for rapid fabrication and measurement of high quality, reliable LED and PV devices.

Our pre-patterned ITO substrates are manufactured from commercial grade ITO used in the flat panel display industry. This guarantees high consistency and very low defect rates in order to help you produce high quality devices.

Ossila Encapsulation Epoxy has been proven not to damage delicate polymers or reactive layers such as calcium. The Scale-up Substrate packs come with either 10 ml of epoxy (20 pack) or 60 ml of epoxy (100 pack).

For robust protection during manual handling and to prevent water and oxygen ingress, a glass encapsulation slide is used as the top layer. This enables storage and measurement of the devices under ambient conditions with only minimal edge ingress after several weeks.

For testing we recommend a pogo pin based connection, this can be done via Ossila's Solar Cell I-V Test System. Electrical connection legs are not recommended with the scale up substrate system due to the number of connections necessary to be made. They are however still compatible with the system and can be bought here for those using breadboard test circuits.
