Our Story
The Beginning
Ossila was founded by three scientists from the University of Sheffield. Frustrated by the difficult task of sourcing essential research tools and forced to spend valuable project time modifying and building equipment, they identified a major barrier to efficient research ignored by other equipment manufacturers. In 2009, Ossila was established to provide an essential suite of high-performance research tools at an affordable price. Backed by academic and industrial experience in developing organic and thin-film LEDs, photovoltaics, and FETs, Ossila started with products built to streamline organic electronics research.
