From an ambitious startup in a small university room to a global powerhouse connecting researchers and innovators with scientific equipment and materials. Ossila was founded in 2009 by visionary scientists who wanted to do things differently—today, we have customers in every continent except Antarctica.

Our journey has been shaped by a strong commitment to innovation and collaboration, principles that have propelled us to the forefront of the scientific community. This dedication has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards, including the 2017 Institute of Physics Innovation Award, the 2018 Queen's Award for Enterprise, and the 2024 King's Award for Enterprise.

As we celebrate our 15th year, Ossila continues to be a cornerstone for the scientific community by providing reliable and affordable products. Building on the success of our industry-leading spin coater, we have expanded our range to include our glove box, optical spectrometer, laminar flow hood, and more. Each product is developed to aid researchers, across diverse scientific fields, to build a comprehensive platform for efficient device fabrication and testing.

We stand as a trusted supplier to leading research institutions in more than 90 countries, focused on making research accessible everywhere innovation thrives. In a bold move to deepen our international ties, we launched a new subsidiary in Leiden, Netherlands in 2021. This strategic expansion not only strengthens our presence in Europe but also allows us to offer seamless delivery to our EU customers, ensuring they receive our products without import duties or fees. And because of its success we extended this guarantee to our US customers as well, eliminating the worry of unforeseen costs.
