Non-Fullerene Acceptor Monomers
Non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs) allow for the creation of more stable organic solar cells with higher power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) and longer lifetimes than fullerene based devices . Such solar cells, known as non-fullerene organic solar cells (NF-OSCs), may soon rival their inorganic counterparts.
The synthesis and preparation of non-fullerene acceptors uses monomer building blocks. The popular Y6 and Y7 NFAs can be created using TTP-TTI-2CHO, for example, and IDTT (IDTTB6-2CHO) and 2HIC (3-(Dicyanomethylidene)indan-1-one) can be used to synthesis ITIC.
We also sell non-fullerene acceptors including ITIC, Y6 and Y7 acceptors.
