PBQx-TF is a highly efficient semiconducting polymer donor, based on electron donating benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene (BDT) and electron withdrawing dithieno[3,2-f:2',3'-h]quinoxaline (DTQx) units as the main backbone. There are two 2-ethylhexyl-3-fluorothiophene side chains on the fused BDT ring and 2-butyloctyl solubilizing groups on the bridging thiophen rings. Our Luminosyn™ PBQx-TF is available in larger quantities of 5–10 grams with a lead time up to 6 weeks, please contact us for details.
Single junction non-fullerene polymer solar cells based on PBQx-TF as the electron donor and eC9-2Cl:F-BTA3 as the binary electron acceptors in the active layer achieved a PCE of 19% with an open-circuit voltage of 0.879 V, short-circuit current density of 26.7 mA cm-2, and fill factor of 0.809.
