Blue Dopant Materials, Dopant Materials, High Purity Sublimed Materials, Materials, OLED Materials, Semiconducting Molecules,DMPPP, effective host material for blue fluorescent devices
Exhibits high luminance without compromising on the efficiency
DMPPP, or 1,1'-(2,5-Dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)dipyrene, has a structure of two pyrene units linked via a dimethylphenyl linker. DMPPP is known as a triplet-triplet annihilation (TTA) energy up-conversion material to effectively regulate exciton utilization.
Normally, DMPPP is used as an effective host material for fluorescent blue devices, exhibiting TTA-type delayed electroluminescence. Unlike TADF-based OLEDs, which generally have low maximum luminance and high roll-off efficiencies, DMPPP host devices provide high luminance without compromising on the efficiency.
DMPPP is also a good blue emitter with a high PLQY of 0.85, a singlet energy level of 3.1 eV and triplet energy level of 2.1 eV.
