Replacement Laminar Flow Hood Pre-Filters

Prolong the life of your HEPA or UPLA filter by capturing larger particulates with a pre-filter

Laminar flow hoods use a two-stage filtration. First, the air is passed through a rough laminar flow hood pre-filter which captures larger particulates but allows smaller particles through. A secondary high efficiency filter constructed of tightly woven fabrics captures the remaining particulates. High efficiency filtration can be achieved by either using a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter or ULPA (Ultra Low Particulate Air) filter.

The use of a pre-filter helps to prolong the life of the more expensive HEPA filter or UPLA filters by preventing them from becoming saturated by large particulates.

Our laminar flow hood pre-filters can be purchased either in pre-cut sheets for quick and easy replacement or on the roll in bulk to save you money on your laminar flow maintenance. Our pre-filters are rated to F5 filtration class and can filter out around 95% of particulates, with a high capture rate for larger particulates.
