Benzylammonium Iodide (BzAI)
Benzylammonium iodide (BzAI) is a precusor used in the synthesis of two-dimensional (2D) layered lead/tin halide perovskites - which are a class of semiconductor materials that are of particular interest in the family of hybrid perovskite semiconductors for thin-film PV and LED applications.
For this reason, BzAI is an ideal additive to the most commonly-used perovskite structures to further tune the structure and properties of such hybrid organic-inorganic materials.
