PTQ1, for applications in high performance polymer solar cells
High quality medium band-gap polymer donor material
TQ1 is an alternating copolymer based on an alkoxylated quinoxaline acceptor and a thiophene donor. It is a cost-effective medium band-gap polymer donor material used for high-performance polymer solar cells.
Over 7% device efficiency was achieved in OPV devics with PTQ1 as the polymer donor, PC71BM as the acceptor and 1-Chloronaphthalene as an additive [3]. This high efficiency was attributed to the polymer chain order and morphological effects.

TQ1 from Ossila was used in the high-impact paper (IF 9.229), Nongeminate Recombination in All-Polymer Solar Cells with Different Crystallinities, H. Kim et al., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, 13, 33, 39322–39330 (2021); DOI: 10.1021/acsami.1c09592.
