PCBH, fullerene acceptor used to enhance the performance of OPV devices
High purity (>99%), low price, and available to buy online for priority dispatch
PCBH, Phenyl-C61-butyric acid hexyl ester is a fullerene derivative of C60 that is used as an electron acceptor material in organic photovoltaic (OPV) solar cells. It is more soluble than PCBM, which makes it more desirable when higher concentrations of the acceptor unit are required. The higher solubility and longer carbon chain also makes PCBH more compatible with polymers so that phase separations can be better controlled, resulting in improved film morphology and higher performing OPV devices.
PCB-Cn (n = 4, 6, 8) have been also a popular candidate for perovskite solar cells applications.
