J52, for highly efficient NFA polymer solar cells

J52 is a medium bandgap semiconducting copolymer donor alternating benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene (BDT) and benzotriazole as the backbone units. Polymer J52 has its maximum absorption around 450 - 600 nm in the visible light region so is normally used as a blend with non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs) for highly efficient NFA polymer solar cells.
A high PCE of 13.18% has been achieved by using J52:i-IEICO-4F blend as active layer materials with the device structure: ITO/ZnO/J52:i-IEICO-4F/MoO3/Al [2].
