* The maximum speed can exceed the value stated above dependent upon solution viscosity, syringe diameter, tube/needle diameter, and tube/needle length.
** The Ossila Dual Syringe Pump has a stepping accuracy of 0.16%, which gives a rate accuracy of 19 nm.s-1. In practice, the accuracy of the flow rate from a syringe pump depends on the accuracy of the driver and the syringe diameter. Different syringes have different manufacturing tolerances. The diameter of plastic disposable syringes can vary by up to 3%, resulting in an error in dispense rate of up to 6%. Glass and stainless steel syringes have a higher tolerance, with a maximum of 0.5% variation in the internal diameter and volume error of up to 1%.

Maximum and Minimum Flow Rate
The maximum and minimum flow rate of the syringe pump is determined by the stepping rate of the motor and the diameter of the syringe. Maximum and minimum flow rates for some common syringe sizes are shown below. By choosing the correct syringe diameter, it is possible to achieve a range of dispense rates spanning 8 orders of magnitude.

Dual Syringe Channels
The dual channels can be controlled independently, so you can dispense solutions at different rates, withdraw and infuse simultaneously, or alternate between different solutions. With two independent pumps, you can tackle more complex experiments and applications.
Precision Motion
Featuring high quality stepper motors and driver technology capable of more than 12,000 steps per revolution. The dual pump model uses two motors so that each can be operated independently. Achieve seamless motion in both pumps and deliver ultra-low volumes of solutions in highly sensitive experiments.
Syringe Compatibility
Our syringe pumps feature universal syringe clamps for syringe sizes ranging from 0.5 μl to 60 ml. We recommend solvent-resistant Norm-Ject Disposable Luer Lock Syringes, which are perfect for solution infusion and solution dispensing, including acids and chlorinated solvents.
Intuitive Controls
With built-in software and a large memory capacity, you can program your system using the simple-to-use interface to perform complex tasks. The dual syringe pump can store up to 10 programs, each of which is able to execute up to 100 steps. This offers a large degree of flexibility, even when lab equipment is shared.
