AQ(PhDPA)red dopant material

Available in high purity, sublimed grade for highly efficient TADF-OLED, energy storage and waveguide applications.

AQ(PhDPA)2, 2,6-bis[4-(diphenylamino)phenyl]-9,10-Anthracenedione, has a molecular structure of the D-π-A-π-D-type chromophore with two electron-rich triphenylamine units attached to an electron deficient anthraquinone centre at 2,6-positions. AQ(PhDPA)2 has been used as an efficient red TADF emitter.

Mono-polymer PBDAPA, prepared from AQ(PhDPA)as the monomer, shows unique urchin-like morphology with an improved specific surface area of ∼129.6 m2 g-1. PBDAPA presents double charge-discharge characteristics with specific capacity of 132.7 mAh g-1. Also, by using the vertical top pumping mode of a 450 nm LED, passive SU-8 waveguide with AQ(PhDPA)2 doped PMMA as the upper cladding presented a gain of 2.6 dB cm-1.
