We are constantly adding new products to our collections. Featured below are a number of the new molecular materials that have become available in the past few weeks. Make sure to keep an eye out for new products entering our catalogue every week!
Pentacene
Order Code: M581

Pentacene is an acene made of five linearly fused benzene rings. It has been widely studied as a p-type semiconductor in organic field effect transistors and is known to exhibit large carrier mobilities within the plane parallel to the substrate. Due to its large carrier mobilities, pentacene has also been used with C60 in heterjunction solar cells with a power conversion efficiency over 2.7%.

Ir(btpy)3
Order Code: M491

Tris(2-(benzo[b]thiophen-2-yl)pyridineiridium, which is also known as Ir(btpy)3, is an efficient red phosphorescent emitter (PHOLED) that is universally used in organic light-emitting diodes and polymer solar cells as a dopant. It is also used as barometric pressure probes due to its sensitivity to oxygen.

Molecular weight | 823.08 g/mol |
HOMO/LUMO | HOMO 5.08 eV, LUMO 2.67 eV |
F4TCNQ
Order Code: M351

F4TCNQ is one of the most commonly used and most efficient p-type dopant because of its strong electron accepting ability and extended π system. It has a deep LUMO level (-5.2 eV) which is energetically in the vicinity of the HOMO level of many organic semiconductors. Doping is enabled by charge transfer from the HOMO level of the host to the LUMO of the dopant molecule.

1,3-Bis(N-carbazolyl)benzene
Order Code: M371
1,3-Bis(N-carbazolyl)benzene, is also known as mCP. It has a high triplet energy (ET = 2.91 eV) and a very deep highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level. mCP is often used as host materials for efficient blue phosphorescent light-emitting diodes.

Zn(BTZ)2
Order Code: M411
Bis(2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazolate) zinc (II), Zn(BTZ)2, is one of the most widely studied high efficient electroluminescent material. It is also has been commonly used as an excellent electron transporting materials in OLEDs. It exhibits an unusual broad electroluminescent (EL) emission and for this reason, a single-emitting component for white light emitting diodes can be fabricated by using Zn(BTZ)2 as emitting layer material.

9,10-Bis(2-naphthyl)anthrace
Order Code: M461
9,10-Bis(2-naphthyl)anthracene, which is also known as ADN, is well known for its high thermal and morphological stability. It is commonly used as the host material for blue organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). With the development of the co-doping technology, ADN has also shown to be a promising host material for full colour OLEDs due to its wide energy band gap.
