The 16th Baltic Polymer Symposium (BPS 2016) was held from the 21st - 24th of September in Klaipėda, Lithuania, which is situated alongside the Baltic Sea. Two members of Team Ossila, Marco Colella and Dr. Nick Scarratt, were lucky enough to attend.
The symposium covered all aspects of modern polymer science, including synthesis, processing, composites, nanotechnologies and much more.
Our very own Marco Colella also attended the first ever annual Excilight day that took place as part of the symposium in Klaipėda between the 20th and 21st of September.
Marco reported: "We had such a great time. Every PhD student of the consortium (15 in total) presented their work in progress. The project has already achieved some of the set goals and the science so far looks very promising."
Marco is picture below in the group photo taken at the meeting.
