Ossila were pleased to host the latest co-hort of PhD students from the photovoltaics centre for doctoral training (http://www.cdt-pv.org/) briefly last Friday for a half day workshop explaining what Ossila is all about, including our R&D and how we got it all started.
Ossila’s Dr James Kingsley commented on the day:
“It was an absolute pleasure to meet the students as they were highly astute, very engaged and clearly a very cohesive group after all their lab work together. As such, it looks like they will be doing great things together and we look forward to seeing them again soon on the PV conference scene.”
The Xtralien team also assisted with a workshop on Python programming and instrument control of the X100 which was also a lot of fun and it's great to see so many new and enthusiastic programmers!
Dr Robert Treharne from the Centre for Doctoral Training also had some great comments about our Xtralien team.
"Jack and Nick from from Xtralien were absolutely fantastic during our Python workshop. Please pass on my thanks to them again. I look forward to discussing our lab's own Xtralien projects with him in the near future."
