OLED and OPV materials testing
Ossila offers a complete device fabrication, testing and analysis service for your organic materials, which enables you to rapidly transform your new research-grade polymers into fully finished and tested devices.
Our standard test routine involves fabricating a range of different devices with varying blend ratios and active layer thicknesses. OPV devices are tested under our NREL-tracable solar simulator to determine their power conversion efficiency, fill-factor, short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage.
We can then take your optimum device and anneal it at a range of temperatures to explore its change in efficiency. Once the optimal annealing temperature has been identified, we then anneal your remaining OPV devices at this temperature and re-measure their characteristics. These data are then compiled into a test report.
We can also custom design a test routine to your needs
Ossila offers two different service packages for your materials; one-off testing and analysis of a single polymer material (~50 mg of polymer is required), or a package of multiple test runs completed throughout the course of a project - ideal for inclusion in grant applications.
Confidentiality is of course standard.
